AmeriFreight? Good. Car Shipping? Bad idea.

In all- my experience with customer service reps was friendly and helpful. However it took three weeks from the first available date to find a carrier- even while I was paying what I was told was a competitive rate and that it would take only a week. This left me paying more for a rental car during that extended time than for the entire shipping process. I wouldn't say AmeriFreight was to blame- I'm just not a believer in vehicle shipping as a reliable moving option anymore.
