Needed to ship car from CA to DE. I did lots of research and calling companies before selecting Amerifreight as I heard lots of horror stories. Graham Turner was my contact and he was the best. He thoroughly explained the process and the price and was honest about the carriers. He suggested starting with the lowest price of $995,but unfortunately that did not work out and had to go $400 above. That wasn't so bad as I needed to get the car shipped. The funny thing was no carrier would take the car for the lowest price but within 2 hours of raising the price there was a carrier and the car was picked up within those 2 hours! The carrier was V&S Trucking and the experience with them was not so good. Communication was beyond poor. They had my car in New Jersey for about 2 weeks before delivery to DE (4 1/2 hours away). When they did deliver, they did not even call to tell me it was on the way! I had to keep calling them and that is how I found out it was on its way. At least there was no damage to the car , only dirty which is to be expected. Graham was excellent and he kept in touch with me the entire time and also called the carrier several times. I know that Amerifreight can only do so much when it comes to the carrier and in no way blame Amerifrieght for the poor performance of V&S Trucking. I would highly recommend Amerifreight and definitely use again. However if you find out V&S Trucking is the carrier, just say NO and wait for another carrier.
