That's how it all started. Like everyone else these days I turned to the Internet only to find a deluge of information. After surfing the net for some time I settled on a site that turned out to be a broker type site which started the endless number of phone calls. These calls came all to often, regardless of the time or situation. I ended up just letting them go to VM which in turn started the horror stories about the industry. Autos being held hostage at an unknown place for more money because the quote given was a teaser rate etc...
I then turned to AAA for some guidance, unfortunately they do not have any info on this type of service. So back to the Internet and along comes Amerifreight. I called and Jorge was extremely informative and helpful. He did not pressure me and allowed me to make my mind up in my own time. When I settled on Amerifreight, I called him back and he took down my particular information, sent me a formal quote and said he would get back to me as soon as he found a courier going my way. Within hours Jorge called me back and said he had found someone and could have them at my house at the specified time I requested. He took my deposit and the driver (Melvin) showed up at my house loaded my two vehicles and off they went. I packed my bags, boarded the plane And flew across the US to my destination. A couple of days later my vehicles showed up Melvin unloaded them put them in my driveway and off he went. A very rewarding experience, with no pressure or hassles. I have to ship my wife's car next and will definitely reach out to Jorge and Amerifreight again.
