Bob at AmeriFreight was very helpful in getting this difficult to place haul (mini-van) with a carrier. His responsiveness was first rate and I had no problem getting answers to all my questions. He was especially easy to deal with when after I reviewed the first company he set me up with I called and asked him to locate another. The first had all zero ratings and a list of horror stories. Bob did say he was using inside industrial ratings to choose from that the customer does not see. I'm pretty sure this rating system could let the world's worst company seem to be respectable.

Bob located another carrier for me operating out of Long Beach, CA - Q Express, Inc. Even though their truck broke down and showed up 3 days late, the owner was responsive enough with call-backs that I felt we'd reach resolution as he promised. They fixed the truck in New Mexico and had it in Boston 3 days later. For those needing a car hauled in/out of SoCal to the East Coast, I'd use AmeriFreight and Q-Express with confidence.
