Satisfactory final results but could use some improvements along the way

The response was too slow at first but it got better near the start time. Vehicle arrived on time with no damage at the end. So I was happy and would use the company again. However, there was room for improvement in the communication process. The company would get all the stars from me if my calls are returned in a timely manner or I would get a call as promised. We had to change to a different carrier before departure day because the original driver had an emergency and had to be hospitalized. This was when the communication was bad and I was left wondering and worried. The new carrier was a family business. Even though the truck was smaller than I had expected (it was one level, big enough for only 4 cars), the three brothers who do business together were pleasant to deal with and they delivered the car as promised and in its original shape. I would give this carrier all 5 stars if there is a separate review for them. Maybe I am a little biased because I love to support startup, small family business.
