Let me start off by saying that if I could have driven my child's car to Waco, Texas, I would have. I just didn't think her car would make it and I didn't have the 3 days for the road trip. Using Amerifreight was my next best option. Out of all the companies I investigated, they seemed the most trustworthy, which is HUGE in my book. I'd rather overpay but have a company I could trust than underpay and feel that I was being cheated the whole time. Graham worked with us and I felt I could trust him. The only hard thing was not understanding and fully knowing how this business works. The entire process made me feel nervous as it's not straightforward at all. Your car is at the mercy of the truck drivers and the trucking companies. Amerifreight is the middleman. I didn't fully understand this until much later in the process, and my only complaint was I wished this had been fully explained to me with more phone calls along the way reassuring me the car would get to Waco. I ended up calling Graham daily and at the end felt embarrassed that I was bugging him so much. To his credit, he never made me feel like I was bothering him and always answered my questions with kindness. He even gave up part of his fee to give a driver more incentive to pick up the car. I'm thankful for that. Well, my child's car made it to Waco. She's happy, I'm relieved, and if I had to, I would use Amerifreight again and I would ask for Graham.
