I have shipped three cars within the past few years, but Amerifreight was the most painless! Shipping a car is scary business and a bit nerve-wracking. I was worried about the timing of scheduling my car shipping along with a cross country move. I had nothing to worry about however.
Amerifreight offered me one of the best bids- -other companies warned that I was being low-balled and wouldn't be picked up- -they were wrong. Rachel called to tell me that my car would be picked up on the first day possible! The drivers arrived on time, and told me they could get the car to CA a day earlier than originally promised (I know that the brokers have no control over the drivers, etc., but this all contributed to a smooth process). The car was delivered as promised, and Rachel called to make sure everything arrived as planned.
In this business you don't necessarily want to take the lowest bid, but that doesn't mean you should let other transport companies take you to the cleaners! Amerifreight gave me an accurate bid (and the best one I found) that still allowed my car to get picked up in a timely manner (and matching or beating the price it would have cost me to drive!). Rachel was friendly and helpful and made the process easy. I will use them again.
