This was my first experience with shipping a car and what a great experience it turned out to be.
AmeriFreight surprised me with their professionalism, courtesy, and sincerity. From the moment I filled out an email request, I was surprised how quick and well organized and informative the response was. Even though I filled it out the email on a Sunday, I got a personal (not automated) email response with all the pertinent information from Jorge (AmeriFreight). Everything, was so well organized that I did not have to call them back with any additional questions (remember this was the first time I shipped a car). The next day I paid the deposit and right away, within hours I received a response from Jorge (9 PM his time) letting me know that he received it and asking me if I need more information. Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised. A few days after we finalized the contract, I received a phone call from Jorge informing me of the availability of a pickup within a day and delivery within 4 days. He also provided me with a direct phone number to the trucking company and encouraged me to make contact to open a channel of communication. I did and the trucking company was very responsive and always to the point (thank you Andre). They picked up the car, which was also a great experience, thanks to Rudy who did a great job while answering all of my many questions. To my surprise the car was delivered a day early, which made the recipients very happy. Instead of taking 4 days to deliver (CA to Ohio), it was delivered in 3 days. Great job!
