This was my first time moving a vehicle and I opted to move it in an enclosed trailer to help make myself feel better that I was going to avoid any road hazards. I did a lot of research and based on several factors including rating from the BBB, AFta, etc, I decided to go with AmeriFreight. I still had some questions and when I called, Rachel helped me through giving me their standard briefing which answered a majority of my questions and then she patiently answered the rest to my satisfaction. I thought the quote offered was fair and it was followed up by an email which was great. I decided to execute the move and did so through the emailed link which worked well. I immediately was connected to Graham who then confirmed my order and submitted it to the board. He was honest and upfront identifying that due to the area I am in, that may raise the estimate a couple of hundred dollars just so that I am prepared. They were able to find a carrier quick (same business day as the order) and even though it was a little more expensive than the original estimate, the dates worked out perfectly so we decided to go with the carrier. Graham was not putting any pressure to decide one way or the other, just advised us on the rate change and the availability and allowed us to make a no pressure decision. The day of the pickup went all right although I would expect the scheduling to be more like the stereotypical cable company, they gave us a time, then got an updated time the day of the pickup and they were even later than that. Truck driver and equipment was professional though and this is to no fault of AmeriFreight, just nature of the beast. The trucking company moved the vehicle and were able to beat their time estimate arriving a day early. They worked well with my wife to have the vehicle ready to meet her schedule availability. The vehicle was delivered without any damage. This was a great experience and I would definately use AmeriFreight the next time I need to move a vehicle.
