My son had completed his 1st round of medical training in the Navy and had orders to report to upstate New York for his 1st deployment.It was 2 weeks before Christmas, and winter had set in here in North Idaho and he needed his car in NY. Shipping it via an auto transport company was what needed to happen so I began my research on the web and narrowed the group down to 5 companies I was contacting for a quote.
That's when I met Jessica. She listened to my concerns, answered my questions, and then Jessica explained how they worked. She wasn't a hard sell person (which I liked), but was clear about what the move was going to cost, the amount of the down payment, type of drivers they book, and approximate time frame for transportation.
Two days before Christmas I called Jessica and advised her I was ready to give AmeriFreight the contract. Though it was the Holidays, she found a driver with a 95% satisfaction rating that could pick the car up on the 30th. The driver was on time, we completed the vehicle inspection, and he was loaded and gone. He contacted my son the day before delivery and gave him a time for delivery. He was 4 hours late, however the 29th and 30th of December, a huge snowstorm in the North East was causing road closures and travel problems.
Jessica and the folks at AmeriFreight did a great job and I have no problem recommending their service to anyone. When my son gets his next duty station I will be calling them again
