My Mazda Protege's trip to the tundra of Minneapolis was one of anticipation and quite honestly, of haste. I must admit that when I first contacted AmeriFreight, I was somewhat turned off by the brevity of our phone conversations and the amount of time between them where seemingly little progress was being made. This apparently uninformed assumption was quickly reverted, however, as my agent Graham (despite an occasional unreturned phone call) successfully and promptly secured a carrier to bring my newly purchased and stellar looking (ha) '02 Mazda Protege to what was, for lack of a better word, a tundra upon its arrival.
I feel I must share that my driver did have some mechanical issues on the day that he arrived- a high of -5 degrees fahrenheit caused the motor on his truck to fail, therefore making it impossible for him to lower the ramp and get my car off. This was simply not the fault of the driver, as the weather was just too extreme for the equipment to function. Moreover, my driver was an incredibly nice man who braved the cold for hours trying to fix it, before relegating the task to Home Depot. In less than 24 hours, he was able to get the car off AND clean a good amount of the dirt of for me.
Overall, I truly commend AmeriFreight on a job well done. Within 3 days of my first available shipping date, Graham was able to secure a carrier, who came LATER THAT DAY. Any miscommunications I had with him in the beginning of the process was quickly relieved by his outstanding job on finding my new vehicle its way to the tundra.
