Considering this was my first time shipping a vehicle, I naturally had some concerns for my car. Getting set up was a breeze with AmeriFreight; they answered all of my questions, had very reasonable prices, and good insurance policies in the event of any damages. I felt very comfortable at the start.
Our carrier was not as helpful. Communication barriers and consistently changing schedules made a number of problems properly receiving my vehicle: the car turned out to arrive earlier than expected, which forced a friend to pick up the vehicle, they wouldn't accept our forms of payment, and changed the delivery location several times. Interfacing with the carrier began to take time away from both my work and my friend while negotiating possible solutions. After several frustrating calls with the carrier, we contacted AmeriFreight again, and they resolved all of our issues very quickly. From there the delivery of my vehicle was a smooth transaction, and my friend picked it up in the same condition it left in.
Great customer service, very friendly, very helpful. I may not use the same carrier again, but in the face of a difficult third party AmeriFreight stepped forward and sorted everything out. It was excellent to have that stress relieved, so I could go back to work or enjoying my free time instead of worrying about my car. Thanks Jorge!
