As a broker, AmeriFreight did what it was supposed to do. I mean at least I got what I signed up for, in terms of the date of pick-up (though the guy came earlier than expected that day), the date of delivery (though the guy came later than expected that day), and a safe delivery for my car (in the same condition I shipped it). As a customer though, my word of advice would be: Shop around and give yourself plenty of time to get (possibly) a more competitive deal. 10 days of waiting for my car turns out to be a long time, not necessary for a car shipped from coast to coast in my opinion (especially when they say, "It's the last spot left; the driver will leave with or without you"). I mean the packages I shipped with the post office arrived sooner than my car. Brokers also tend to start you off with a lower quote but then confirm with a higher one. If you don't give yourself ample time you might just find yourself going along and paying $150 extra to get something (better than nothing). It was my first time though, so maybe $900 is still a good ideal across the country.
