My wife and I just made the move from Seattle to Houston and needed to have our Hyundai Tucson moved, since we couldn't drive it ourselves. I contacted AmeriFreight on March 13 and they were able to coordinate the move and have the car delivered to Houston on March 31. Personally, I think that's a pretty quick turnaround time. There were difficulties with our move not associated with AmeriFreight. We had a situation where the car was shipped on March 26 and arrived on March 31, while my wife and I did not arrive in Houston until April 2. I was able to work with Graham, my contact at AmeriFreight and the driver to ensure that my roommate could accept delivery of the car. Upon getting to Houston, we had our car and despite a little dirt and bugs from the long trip, the car was in the same condition as at pick up. Throughout the process Graham worked with our scheduling difficulties, since we were moving and then going on vacation from April 5-11. Graham was able to locate a carrier and have them show up promptly and deliver the car promptly to our cross-country destination. I also want to commend the driver for being very professional in both pick up and delivery phases as we had three different people involved on my side in scheduling, pick up and delivery. I was also happy with the price. We had different moving companies quote us up to $1,700 for transporting our car, while AmeriFreight was able to do it for just under $1,000. I appreciate the effort that Graham put into our move and the difficulty in our scheduling requirements. I appreciate the friendly and flexible customer service by AmeriFreight.
