Moved from Atlanta to Los Angeles. I have never had experience wit car transport before so I didn't know what to expect. My experience was good Amerifreight worked around my schedule and worked with me through a hectic move. The carrier came 2 days earlier than was projected which was good because I got my car earlier, but it did catch me off guard because I didn't have time to prepare a cashiers check. But we got the issue resolved I just had to run around downtown LA looking for ATM's at 11:00 p.m. which kind of sucked. I wish the carrier had given me at least a days notice or even 6 hours notice instead of calling me an hour before drop off at 10:00 p.m. On a Sunday with no possibility of me catching a bank open to pay with cashiers check (which I prefer). And I am not really sure if this was the carriers fault or amerifreights fault, because they ended up being 2 different companies to take my car across country.
That was my only gripe, but if you want a trustworthy company that is going to handle the logistic of getting your car across the country in one piece with no scratches or dings or dents, you should go with Amerifreight. So overall they did a great job. And my car came back in one piece and in fine shape and early which is really what is most important to me.
