I have to admit I was skeptical at first due to bad past experiences in shipping vehicles. I was totally proven wrong with AmeriFreight. After conducting extensive research on multiple transportation companies, it all came down to two factors: (1) reputation and (2) price. Since my previous experiences with shipping vehicles were not pleasant, reputation definitely trumped price. In this case, a lower price was an unexpected perk! Another factor in choosing a transporter was professionalism and customer service. I had a special request where I needed the vehicle to not be picked up before a specific date and not be dropped off before a certain date at the receiving destination. Every other company I spoke to sounded as if I was inconveniencing them and stated from the get-go it may be an extra charge to accommodate my request. One company actually had the audacity to question if I really “needed” my vehicle for given dates and criticize me for not being flexible. At that point, I was ready to just drive my vehicle cross-country. Something told me to start looking at the Better Business Bureau website and there they were. AmeriFreight literally changed my mind after I called them and the rest is history. I wish I would have checked the website sooner, and did not rely on just ‘googling’ the phrase “transportation services”. Then again, if I was AmeriFreight, I do not think I would want to be listed among the many poor “transportation services” I encountered. Again, I could not have asked for anyone better.
