The order process is a little confusing. Initially the order was taken over the phone, then an email came asking to input the order on-line. The orders then got confused, and the pickup location was changed from Seattle Washington to some small town in Minnesota. The Amerifreight representative apologized, cleared up the transportation order, and after several days obtained a quote. He was very polite through the process.
Pickup of the car was scheduled for 10am, and took place actually at 8pm. I had to stay home from work to be available all day. Communication about the delay due to a need to change the truck's tires would have been appreciated. Drop-off at the destination was delayed by 5 hours, from 3pm to 8pm. The driver was redirected to an intermediate destination, and communication didn't occur until I called to find out an update from the driver.
That said, the driver was polite and nice, and it is a good way to transport a car. You just need to proactively stay in touch and then be flexible.
