AmeriFreight did exactly what I paid them to do - find a reliable auto shipper to transport my car. One thing to keep in mind with them is that they are not a shipper they are a broker. The price they quote you is only an estimate and subject to a carrier picking up the job at their own rate. I was told upfront that my $1300 economy rate might change and it certainly did. I ended up paying $1650 to have my car shipped. All in all the $250 extra to have AmeriFreight do the legwork of finding a shipper for me was worth it. I had two friends in the last month book ther own auto haulers and get stood up at the last minute.
