My experince was not great. My car was picked up very late even though I requested expedited service and I had to drive out of state for approximately 30-40 miles to deliver my car to the driver which can be attributed to possibly due to lack of carriers ready to pick up the car.
Again it was not delivered on the day it was promised to be delivered. In fact I was told by the driver to come and pick it up from a different city. It was finally delivered 2 days late and I had to bear the extra expense for the rental car. After providing me the driver's phone number the dispatcher very obviously stopped answering his phone ( because he was aware that the driver is not going to deliver the car on promised day) and I had no way to contact anyone at Amerifreight because it was a weekend.
My experience with customer service representative at Amerifreight was good though they were not available on weekends when my car was suppose to be delivered. To me it appeared that they did not have any control over the driver or the dispatcher who were responsible for delivering the car. They do claim that they choose only reputable drivers but it does seem to be in my case and they told me that they had problems with this transporter in past, but they still went ahead and decided to choose him.
