I decided on Amerifreight based upon their BB rating and other ratings listed on the net. By far they were rated the best and as a first time user of a transportation service I was nervous.
I was informed by my broker that the starting price would be $650 but we may need to negotiate. I was pleased when she called me the next day to inform me that she had a carrier that could deliver the vehicle for the quoted $650 dollars. She also gave me the phone number of the truck driver which allowed me to keep in contact with then throughout the process.
During my readings of reviews of numerous carriers, I understood that the actual pick up dates and delivery dates were not firm but an estimate. Since I expected this fluctuation in dates I was not concerned when the actual pick up and delivery dates moved. I was informed by the driver that he would pick up my vehicle on Tuesday, however they actually picked it up three days later on Friday. I kept in contact with the driver who informed me of his delays. The driver informed me that he would deliver my vehicle on Monday yet actually delivered it on Wednesday. Once again I was in contact with the driver thus I understood where my vehicle was and the new delivery date. Throughout the process, my broker at Amerifreight was in contact with me and was more upset than I. I anticipated delays, thus I was not concerned when they occurred.
All in all the professionalism of my broker was outstanding...she constantly called me I did not have to call her.
I would recommend their service based upon my experience and I would use them again.
Ask for Ali - she was the best.
