Great service and price- but for the novice this is how it works:
1) Amerifreight is a broker not a carrier, you will pay them money to find a carrier who will also charge you money.
The agent was upfront- the more you pay the more likely you are to get a carrier. I ended up paying $200 more than originally quoted- but my final price, $1160 total, was a reasonable rate when I compared to uship.com. uship.com gives a range of prices and the likelihood your car will ship at each price, Amerifreight gives u a quote with an agreement to negotiate at higher prices if need be.
2) This review is written because Amerifreight will charge you $50 extra if u don't leave a review. So also read unpaid reviews.
3) Service was GREAT! Brett called and emailed promptly very helpful! He even got others to help when he was unavailable.
4) Car was shipped in a closed car carrier, even though I would've been happy with an open carrier.
