I had nothing but excellent service from Josh at AmeriFreight.
The delivery process however, was less than desirable. The carrier was hard to reach by phone, gave very vague updates via text, and was 12 hours later than what was originally expected.
Initially the driver wanted to deliver the same day as pickup but would require an 11pm or midnight delivery. When we agreed that that would not work, he decided he would delay overnight and would delivery early the next morning. Apparently in after that conversation the driver must have decided to pick up another delivery because it was not until the next morning when I was preparing for delivery that I was updated via text of a noon slide.
Long story short, that time slid to "mid afternoon". I was finally able to pull a time from the drivers GPS which was 4:30 pm.
The driver prioritized an additional delivery beforehand and ultimately did not arrive to our delivery location until just after 6pm on a Saturday.
All of this wouldn't have been as bad if I was having the vehicle delivered to my residence however, it was a surprise for my wife and involved me driving to a drop off location several times without much of an agreed upon delivery time.
Outside of all of that, Josh worked INCREDIBLY hard with my busy schedule to constantly search for carriers and play extensive phone tag with me to set up the right match. Thanks for all the hard work Josh!
