Amerifreight subcontracted my SUV transport to an independent carrier as they do for their business. Amerifrieght is not a carrier. The driver called the day before and was very flexible in helping arrange a good pickup location and time for both us and him (the trailer is really long and low). Picked up within the time he said, and arrived about a day earlier than expected (he was outrunning a tropical storm in south florida). Less than a week overall. Arranged coordinated drop off between us and one other customer at a close location. Was there on time, our vehicle in the same condition as when taken. Very good experience overall, would use them again in a second. We did pay for priority shipping, which guaranteed pickup within 48 hours of date we provided. Well worth the extra $175 since we were moving (and flying) and did not want to deal with an open-ended pickup. Amerifreight was also very helpful and available on the phone whenever I called.
