I was in Europe and needing to get my car from the east to the west coast. I hadn't done this before and after researching for over a week learned that this is NOT for the faint of heart. Almost all of these guys are crooks and scam their clients; first with a low ball quote they never expect to really charge you, charging for deposits they keep no matter what, and then going MIA and not returning calls. THIS IS EXACTLY THE OPPOSITE WHEN YOU WORK WITH MR TURNER AT AMERIFREIGHT. Thankfully I found them via the Better Business Bureau, where they are one of few with a great rating. They were clear about the quote, mentioned that sometimes they need to bump it based on current trucker going rates to secure a position on the truck. When I received confirmation of a trucker, they immediately communicated with me and gave me all the critical information to keep track of the delivery. When I called directly for any status, they were always available or returned my calls/emails promptly ( within the day). I am thankful my experience was beyond expectations, as I was out of the country I would have been the perfect target for a scam. I HIGHLY recommend these guys and specifically Mr Turner.
