Having never shipped a car across the country can be worrisome because of the uncertainty of when your car will get picked up and when it will arrive. I paid and extra $400 dollars from the initial quote because they said that trips from California to Wisconsin are hard to find. I wanted to make sure I had my car there, because I had to run errands and buy things for my new place. The pick up was fast and easy from California. However, the carrier delayed the delivery of my car three times until it was delivered a day past the estimated delivery window. It was an inconvenience for me because moving to a new state without a car to get around is very difficult. The help and customer service was great, but the choice of carrier was not. Hopefully I will never have to ship my car again because it was a stressful experience dealing with the carrier and getting my car delivery pushed back multiple times. However, my point of contact (Lecia) at Amerifrieght tried as best as they could to help me out, but in the end if the carrier can't deliver your car you are out of luck.
