After given a high price from the dealer who sold the car (and promised a great deal on shipping it to a local dealer), I researched other options. I decided to call AmeriFreight after reading some reviews. I understand many reviews may be ones who received a $50 break in price for offering to write a review, but you can wade through those easily. Certainly it was a drop in the bucket compared to the cost, so I wanted to call to see how they would handle an urgent transport. End of summer and college students and families traveling to Texas, so I was worried I couldn't get the car there fast enough. I talked to Lecia, and the price was good, but there was no guarantee the car would get picked up and delivered quickly during this busy time, so I agreed to the additional offer to see if we could get a faster delivery. While I was still on the phone an offer came in accepting the bid. After calling the local mover, everything was arranged and the car was picked up. It was driven by the driver out of the small streets in the neighborhood, and showed up at the house in Texas the same way. Even a day earlier than expected. The car was dirty from the long trip, but was in perfect shape otherwise. Very pleased overall, and will use AmeriFreight again when I ship another car in a few months.
