Shipping my car proved to be so easy with Amerifreight and National Auto Moving, and so economical- that it's difficult to remember my initial questions and concerns.
Jorge- my contact at Amerifreight, was in constant communication with me after my initial online query. He cordially and expertly managed the entire process, and kept me informed at all points along the way. Roberto- my driver, was equally cordial and easy-to-work with. At the appointed time I met him by his truck at the local Walmart in south Alabama, paid him his due, discussed pick-up arrangements and off he went. 4 days later, I heard from him- saying he'd have my car the next morning, a day early. Sure enough- 7:30 the next morning, 10 minutes from my new workplace, I met him at an easy pick-up spot, where I checked the car (looked great), signed on the dotted line- and presto I had my car.
In addition to the friendly and expert service, the best part was that my total bill ($800) was less than they quoted me, and not all that far above what it would have cost me in gasoline, motels, and wear and tear where I to have driven it myself.
In the end it was a great experience. I highly recommend Amerifreight to anyone wanting to use their services. Easy as pie, and economical too.
