I tried a couple different companies and AmeriFreight was able to be the most affordable of all quotes. I had used them a couple years ago when moving to the east coast and I had an good experience with them, but a so so experience with the actual shipper. Since they were the cheapest and my cars were delivered in good condition the last time I shipped, I decided to use them again. Lecia was always available and if she didn't pick up the phone when I called, returned my call promptly. Shipper promised me a covered move, but they picked up and delivered in an open air truck. I guess the move cross country was covered and I am guessing it was inside a container on a train. I felt a little surprised by that, but it was my fault for not asking more questions and assuming that it was a covered move in the same truck from point a to b. BC of that I accepted a bid that was a little higher than I thought it should be and if I had known the full details, I would have held out for a better price or open air move which I think is faster and there is less transfer of the cars from point to point. Shipping took a bit longer than my last time probably since it wasn't on a truck the entire way. Overall I was very pleased with my dealings with AmeriFreight, but I would advise consumers to be very picky about the quote you accept, bc that is one area that I don't think AmeriFreight gives enough advice on.
