I researched a number of transportation companies before calling AmeriFreight. The overwhelming positive reviews AmeriFreight received were right on target. From the beginning Lecia Phillips, the agent who worked with me, explained things clearly and worked with me to arrange for an optimal pick-up and delivery time at a reasonable cost. Additional insurance was offered (which I declined), but there were no additional charges or “surprises.” Since Ameri-Freight and other similar companies do not actually transport the vehicles themselves, their choice of the actual shipper is critical. Lecia informed me that Ameri-Freight only works with shippers that have 95% positive ratings or better. I was fortunate to be paired with a shipper with a 100% positive rating. He was terrific, and got my car across the country in great shape in just 4 days, rain and all.
