After waiting almost 40 years, I purchased a classic car like I had in high school. I had never shipped a car before, so I started reviewing transport companies on the web. Of course there are many and reviews are all over the board. No company has all stellar reviews. When I came across the AmeriFreight site my initial thoughts were that they had a very professional introduction to the company. I guess the main reason I chose to call and select them t (I did call others) was that they are located in a City where my brother lives. I thought that if anything goes wrong I have someone that can visit them personally. Believe that wasn't the case. My primary contact was Jorge Cruz. Jorge was a great guy and explained the process very thoroughly. He didn't rush or pressure me to choose AmeriFreight. Since delivery wasn't that critically with me, I went with a lower shipping cost to start with at his suggestion. After about a week, I called Jorge and because there hadn't been any movement from carriers, Jorge suggest we raise the shipping cost. I waited 4 more days and was just about ready to call to raise the amount again, when I received a call from Graham who was filling in for Jorge at the time. He had a carrier that was interested in transporting my car. The price was a little more, but it could be picked up the next day and deliver to me 2 days later, both of which happened. By the way, Graham was as equally professional as Jorge. The car was delivered without damage. The carrier was The Richardson Network - Brandon Richard was the owner/operator. He kept me informed the whole way of his progress via text or phone. If I every need to move another car, I would definitely contact AmeriFreight and ask if they get Brandon as the carrier. One surprise/bonus was the car came in a closed trailer even though I had contracted for an ! My car shipping process was very positive ! .
