This was my first time that I had to get my car hauled. I shopped around for a week and made spreadsheets and talked to numerous car hauling brokers. It seems that this industry requires most individuals to use a broker who has access to a national data base to hire truckers/transport companies. Graham explained to me how the bidding process works. He answered all of my questions. The total cost from Baltimore, MD - Los Angeles, CA was $1185.00. The truckers get $900 and Amerifreight (broker fee) was $285.00. Overall this was a good experience since my car was picked up on the first available date and arrived in LA in 7 days. There was no damage and the trucker/dispatch communicated their ETA well. Thanks.
