Following the Louisiana Floods in August 2016, we found ourselves looking for another vehicle to suit our needs. We found one in New Baltimore, MI. I contacted 3 companies for quotes and originally went with a competitor because they owned their fleet vehicles- hit a snag when I found out their vehicles did not have routes from Mi to La, and they were contracting with independent haulers. After two weeks of the runaround and learning that they weren't using their fleet to haul my vehicle, which to me was false advertising and deceitful, they were fired. So, that's when I called Graham Turner at AmeriFreight. I explained the situation to him, asked if the quote he had previously given me was still good. When he said yes, I told him exactly what I didn't like about the other company, what I expected from him as my customer service rep and if he thought he could work with me. He agreed to take the challenge and boy am I ever glad he did! Graham worked hard to find a hauler that worked in our price range, called me along the way to make sure the hauler had contacted me with the arrangements. He even had one of his co-workers call me with some information because he knew I was about to board an airplane and wanted me to know that things were under control with the vehicle pick-up. That to me is the epitome of customer service. Our vehicle was delivered yesterday...the hauler was an absolute gentleman, and was thankful we had a large parking lot nearby for him to unload...all in all, a great experience from beginning to end. And yes, if we ever need to ship a vehicle, if anyone in the family needs to ship a vehicle, I will call Graham and set it up...NO DOUBT ABOUT IT!
