My son's 2013 Hyundai Elantra was successfully transported from Raleigh, NC to Olympia, WA in December 2016. My contact person at Amerifreight was friendly, eager to help, and made the process easy to understand. Once the order was placed I didn't hear anything from Amerifreight for some time until I got a call and text message to contact the agent as quickly as possible about a bid on my transport order. The bid was higher than originally quoted but still within a price range I was willing to pay. Pickup of the vehicle happened at 6:30 a.m. and unfortunately my sleepy adult son left his wallet in the vehicle but didn't realize this until several hours later. I was able to call the driver, confirm that the wallet was in the vehicle, and make arrangements for the driver to turn over the wallet at a police station near the driver's current location in eastern North Carolina. Fortunately the transport company driver turned over the wallet (with all the contents intact) as we had agreed on the phone. I was told that it would take 7-10 days for the car to arrive in Washington. On day 11 I called the transport company about the whereabouts of the vehicle and learned that the car would be delivered later that day. We got an hour's notice from the driver about the delivery of the vehicle and the vehicle was delivered to the agreed upon location as promised. I was not offered an incentive to submit this review.
