We had a terrific experience shipping our car from TX to CT with Amerifreight. Everything about the service went smoothly. Communication with our representative, Graham Turner, was easy, consistent and professional. He was able to work within our time frame very well, which was especially challenging since I was out of the country for part of the shipment. The initial bid was $635 with the expectation that it could be up to $300 more depending on placement in the carrier. The end price ended up being $733, which I found to be perfectly reasonable. The car was shipped on Jan 10 (on-time pick up) and arrived on Jan 17, a day early than expected. It was in the exact same shape as when we had shipped it, perhaps somewhat muddier, but that is to be expected when driving cross country in winter. There were three drivers: they contacted us a day in advance of the pickup and again on the same day to give us a narrower time frame for the pick up, and again on the day of the drop off. I hadn't had contact with them during the drive, so the early drop off came as a bit of a surprise, but is a welcome one. We couldn't have wished for better service!
