Through my searching to find a reliable company to ship my car from California to Illinois, AmeriFreight had multiple high ratings/ reviews on Yelp. After following their website to get an initial quote, their quote was also the cheapest. Though, when it came to getting my car shipped, the price was no longer the cheapest from my research. To my fault, I could have declined the first bid and either waited for a cheaper bid or have gone with another company. But the company reached out to me with the bid a day before my deadline to ship the car, so I was in a little bit behind a rock. Along with the last minute scheduling, I also experienced poor customer experience with AmeriFreight in that I had to send multiple emails and calls to verify if they were still working on my shipment. But, my experience could be standard across the board and just how this industry operates. Regardless, the company (Taurus Movers) picking up my car was very nice and delivered the car on-time and right in the driveway.
