I wanted to ship a Volvo station wagon that my daughter had in California to my house in upstate NY. American Freight was good in explaining all the parameters and details that go into shipping a car across the country like this distance was. I only had to talk with one man who was available any time I thought of a new question. I went with them mainly for that reason. The fee was reason able after checking around first. The pickup in San Francisco Bay Area was excellent as it was quite close to my daughter's house. That was on a Friday and on the following Wed a.m, after a preliminary phone call to alert me, the auto truck showed up my house. The driver was polite. Only took a few minutes to unload the car. i was most satisfied with the
mechanics and ease of the whole contract.
