I was tired of searching for parking spaces in Brooklyn and Manhattan, so I gave my car to my son who lives in San Diego. Having owned cars for the past 42 years, it was a very big deal and anxiety provoking for me to give up my car and to arrange for transporting it.
In the past, I’ve been cheated and robbed by people whom I though were honest, so I was very careful about choosing the right company to transport my car. I could not have chosen a more honest and reliable company than AmeriFreight.
Jorge was wonderful. His professionalism calmed me down completely, and he invited me to call him whenever I needed to. I had many questions and worries, and he answered all of my questions and never got impatient with me. The trucking company that transported the car was very reliable, and when they could not reach my son or his girlfriend in San Diego, they persisted several times. Eventually they called me, and I was able to expedite the delivery.
The only blip in the process that I encountered was getting some misinformation about how the pick-up is done in a city with such crowded, narrow streets as Brooklyn. The procedure is a little different from towns where the streets are wider. It turned out to be much easier than what I had read and had been told, so I was relieved about that. I wish though that I had known in advance exactly what to expect.
