I am in Maine and my son was in CA and his car was with me. First it is not easy to get transport in Maine and I do not have to tell you what the winter is like! I also had a job that made it difficult for me to be available for drivers to accommodate my schedule. But Harry at Amerifreight worked with me, and I was not easy to work with as I had to turn away drivers that were in the area because I could not manage the day off when they were. But he found one and he got the driver to come close to my home and on a day I was off! No small job for where I live. The drivers name was Pavel, he was wonderful, freindly and honest. We liked him so much that we bought him dinner lol. We felt good about leaving my sons car with him. Pavel even sent me a text later thanking us and wish us well. Communication between Harry and Pavel was outstanding. My son received the car all the way to CA, In good condition. Pavel was great meeting my son and he said “Pavel was a great guy, really nice.” I highly recommend Ameri-Freight.Just be open to different estimates as the driver/ transport people are all different depending who is in your area and they dictate what price they will take to take your car. We did not find this unreasonable as a transport from Maine to CA is a very long stretch and the money was well spent on such a good service. My son is happily zipping around CA now. Thanks Ameri-Freight and Pavel. Job well done!
