After reviewing a number of brokers and reviews from a number of different online sites including the BBB, I decided to go with AmerhiFreight to ship a car from Florida to a buyer in Utah. They were not the cheapest nor the most expensive. I was particularly interested in how they handled complaints through the BBB. I was very satisfied with how they answered and resolved complaints. Because of this and many other positive reviews, I decided to go with Amerifreight. I asked and received an Economy Saver Rate estimate from them quickly. Because the car was part of an estate sale, I could not immediately release it for transport because legal paperwork allowing it took longer to approve, several months actually, than expected. Amerifreight held my file until I recently let them know that the car was ready to transport. They gave me an updated estimate which came in about $175 less than the original one. I signed the contract on a Monday morning to get the process moving. Thay had a very reputable transport company for me that evening that accepted the offer. Amerifreight told me the car would be delivered by Saturday. I contacted Javier of Fong Transportation Monday night and he said he could pick the car up the next morning,Tuesday. He showed up on time a short distance from my residence because he couldn't get into my housing area. We inspected the car, noted all all minor areas of concern on the Bill of Lading then both signed it. Javier said he could get the car to the destination by Friday. I called him on Thursday for an update and he said he was on time for the Friday delivery. The delivery was completed that Friday morning with the new owner inspecting the car and paying cash, as agreed for the actual transportation of the vehicle, to Javier. Javier was very nice and helpful to the new owner of the car. All parties were completely satisfied. The whole process went very smoothly. I initially worked with Richard Jernigan at AmeriFreight who addressed all of my questions and concerns. I would use them again and highly recommend them to my friends.
