We needed to ship a truck from Florida to Arizona. We asked for estimated quotes from several shipping companies and AmeriFreight was the lowest price with good reviews. We were warned in advance that the ACTUAL price might come in higher than the quoted price. That proved to be true. The problem is, we did not find out the actual price until the day before the truck was scheduled for pick up. By then, we had completed all the paperwork and had the vehicle ready to go. A bit late to start looking for a better price. So just be aware. Our rep at AmeriFreight was very responsive with emails and texts. We did have a slight problem with the phone number for the POC at destination. I had the wrong number when I filled out the initial paperwork and I corrected it immediately, but the correction was not processed through the system and the driver showed up with the wrong contact number. We gave him the correct number, but someone along the line still used the wrong number to try to notify the recipient that the truck was due to be delivered the next day. So--a word of caution if you have to change any of the information you initially provide. Bottom line--the truck was picked up the day we requested and delivered a day early--in pristine condition.
