I had a really great experience with AmeriFreight. As I was looking to ship my car across the country, it came to my attention that many of these shipping services have absolutely terrible reviews. This is because the brokers that match people with carriers who actually do the transportation don’t take particularly thorough steps to ensure your satisfaction. AmeriFreight, on the other hand, has a variety of different procedures in place to ensure that you are updated on the status of your car as it ships and that the whole process is seamless. First, they give you an estimate for shipping and there are absolutely no hidden tacked on fees. Next, they offer the option of insurance for ~$50-70 that covers damage to your car during a variety of different circumstances that wouldn’t be covered by the carrier insurance. They only match customers with carriers who have a satisfaction rating of 95% or higher. The biggest thing is the quality of customer care: AmeriFreight remains a part of the process until your car is successfully delivered. I worked with Richard who was a tremendous help. The carrier I initially accepted a bid from was having mechanical issues with his truck and I called Richard for help. Richard put my car under a different order number back on the board for accepting bids so that I would definitely have a carrier to pick up my car before I had to be in another state. I absolutely cannot recommend AmeriFreight enough.
