The customer shipped at the Economy Rate. This is our standby rate. It is ideal for customers who are looking for the cheapest rate to ship and have flexibility with the pickup window. If we locate a carrier going the route needed, but the carrier is requesting additional money, we will notify the customer of this shipping option. The customer always has the option to decline the offer. If a vehicle at the Economy rate has not been picked up within 7 business days, AmeriFreight adds $50 of our money to the amount offered the driver. This provides an incentive to help get the vehicle picked up in a timely manner.
