In my job I deal with a lot of shipping companies so I had very low expectations for this experience. This was the first time I've shipped a car. My shipment was not straightforward as the car did not function in reverse and it was a long distance to ship. The original quote they gave me seemed and it was no surprise when it cost $300 more than the original estimate. I will be clear that the original estimate is a ballpark and until a trucker accepts the load you won't know the final cost. I was very surprise however that I got an enclosed trailer which I did not originally request, but it was a nice bonus. We had a late game change in the pickup location which the trucker accommodated. The trucker was showtime motorsports. He did a good job of communicating the delivery timeframe and coordinating dropoff. He delivered 4 days earlier than the original timeframe. They will be my go to for future vehicle transport needs.
