I needed to move my 2001 Toyota Tacoma from central North Dakota to Seattle. It has been sitting for about two and a half years unused so with the bad gas and dead battery, it was not in running condition. I found out about AmeriFreight after googling "best auto transport companies" and it was one of four listed. After filling out an online estimate, I was contacted by Mr. Harry Davis. I work nights so it took me a little while to make a decision. Even before signing a contract, Mr. Davis found a willing carrier , Win Win Autotransport, to pick up my truck. North Dakota is generally not a good place to pick up vehicles. Actually, North Dakota is generally not a good place, period. After being notified of this, I agreed to use their services. So besides my truck not being drivable, I wasn't too concerned with when it would be delivered. My biggest concern was my friends lives being too disrupted when it would be picked up from their property. Luckily, Win Win's estimated pick up/delivery estimate times (7 day delivery window) were pretty spot on. Kudos to Win Win and kudos to AmeriFreight for finding them! My truck did get delivered 7 days later. This is not a complaint since this is not anyone's fault, but the door to door delivery I was seeking could not be done because the residential streets here in Seattle are too tight for the 70 foot trailer the driver was using. But the driver, Dan, had a very professional and helpful attitude and even helped me find a tow truck driver to take my truck home. Luckily, there was an auto shop right where he stopped with my truck so I left it with them instead (turned out, the battery was very dead and the starter was bad). Overall, I am extremely happy to have used AmeriFreight and Win Win Autotransport. The price was reasonable also, and did not change from the estimate. Mr. Davis even made a follow up call after pick up. I would be happy to use AmeriFreight again if needed.
