Transport Service Great But Pricing Misleading

I turned down two other quotes from other transport companies because Amerifreight quoted me $695 for a 1200 mile transfer. The two other companies quoted me a preliminary number of $1000 and $1100. Then after waiting 6 days to receive an actual bid from an independent hauler, the price came in at $1422 - more than double the original bid. I get it that Amerifreight is at the mercy of independent haulers but they should have been in the business long enough to see current pricing trends and should never have quoted $695 for this haul. On the other hand, Danielle was very helpful and the transaction was smooth. Also, the independent hauler got the vehicle to me when he said he would and called me 3 or 4 times before arriving. Also, a great experience. If it's going to cost more than double the $695 then let me know going in. Kind of a bait and switch to me.
