Melissa and other supporting staff were very accessible and responsive. They worked with me to get my car shipped across country at a time where COVID driven supply and demand issues made life availability challenging. I was ultimately happy with the customer service and actual delivery of my vehicle on time and in appropriate condition. It may be helpful for others to know that if you are on a tight movement timeline, you can have a trusted friend or family member execute the hand-off or receipt of the vehicle to the shipper on your behalf. A couple other recommendations for improvement: 1. Customers need to know that the shipping quote given up front does NOT determine the actual cost of shipping. In my case, the actual cost was several hundred dollars more than the initial quote. Brokers may not be able to control the final cost, but should do a better job of informing customers about the potential (or likely) increase in cost when one actually ships. 2. In transit visibility of the vehicle being shipped would be nice. Not sure if this is possible or if there is already a mechanism in place for that, but it does offer peace of mind when customers are able to receive updates on their vehicle's movement enroute. Overall, happy with the actual delivery and customer support. Minus one star for the unanticipated escalation in cost.
