I booked my car transportation 3 weeks in advance. The price quoted was $1155. There was no follow-up from the representative about my car transport, I waited an entire week and a half before I called and followed-up with them.
Maybe it is their policy not to call and then call the last minute with the price change... where you have no other option but to go with them. The sales rep had previously mentioned that there may be a price increase. I finally ended up paying $1800. That is a $645 jump from the initial price quoted.
