I worked with Brandy at AmeriFreight to ship my car cross-country from Wisconsin to California this past January. She helped to negotiate my rate initially quoting $879 for the economy option (which basically means you have a pretty flexible pick up date). After sending over all of the necessary details about my move (destination, type of car, first available date for pick up, etc.), Brandy identified a carrier within 24hr. Unfortunately, this all happened during the pandemic so right after confirming the carrier with her and paying the deposit, my plans changed due to Covid, and I needed to push back my move date. She was completely understanding and worked with me so I could keep the deposit I had already paid as a credit for when I moved a few weeks later. The only downside with AmeriFreight was the cost. I ended up paying $1281 which was quite a bit more than the initial quote and while it's certainly cheaper than most carriers, its not the lowest price on the market, but overall a good experience.
