A big thank you to AmeriFreight! And a even bigger thank you to Sydni Anglin who made (what felt like was the impossible), possible. I had to get my inoperable 1989 VW Vanagon shipped from Louisiana to Washington, under the constituents I needed it was a lot to ask for any driver. I actually had another broker bail on me because of it! Sydni was awesome for a lot of reasons: she explained in detail how car shipping typically works (broker, National driver boards, etc.), she kept me updated even when we were getting zero bites, and she was real with me on some obstacles we would face. Something to anticipate is that your initial quote (from here or really any broker) isn’t always the price you’ll pay, as in it can be a lot more. Depending on who you’re working with it can be off putting, but if you understand how the whole system works, its just how this business works.
