My brother had a bad experience with a different company when transporting his car from California to Michigan, so I went with AmeriFreight instead, hoping I would have a better experience. Thankfully, everything went smoothly from beginning to end. The cost was higher than the initial quote, but they do inform you of that possibility since a final price is not available until they find a carrier for you. Also, gas prices are through the roof, but the final cost was on par with other carriers from what I've heard from friends who transported their cars similar distances in spring/summer 2022. Communication from my AmeriFreight representative (Delta Dickerson) and the people and drivers at the actual carrier (Great West Auto Transport) were all fantastic. My car arrived on the day they promised and it was in good shape. My experience was great and I would defintely use AmeriFreight if I ever need to move long distance again.
